Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to TimaxPay ("Protocol," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TimaxPay website, decentralized application (DApp), and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By connecting your wallet and using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Non-Custodial Nature of the Service
TimaxPay is a strictly non-custodial, decentralized financial interface. We never hold, control, or have access to your cryptocurrency, fiat funds, or private keys. You retain complete control over your assets at all times. Consequently, we cannot recover lost funds, reverse unauthorized transactions, or restore lost private keys or seed phrases.
3. Third-Party Services and Integrations
Our platform aggregates and interacts with various third-party decentralized protocols and centralized providers to offer our Services:
- Fiat On-Ramps: Services like fiat-to-crypto purchases are provided by third parties (e.g., Transak). You must agree to their respective Terms of Service and complete their KYC/AML procedures.
- Bridging and Swaps: Cross-chain routing is powered by third-party protocols such as Li.Fi and Gelato.
- Prediction Markets: Prediction interfaces are powered by decentralized oracle networks (e.g., Polymarket).
- Yield Protocols: Yield generation interacts with smart contracts deployed by Uniswap, Curve, and others.
TimaxPay assumes no liability for the failure, hacks, or regulatory actions taken against these third-party protocols.
4. Assumption of Risk
By using TimaxPay, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with cryptographic systems, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi), including but not limited to:
- Market Volatility: The value of cryptocurrencies and fractionalized assets can fluctuate wildly.
- Smart Contract Risk: While we interact with audited protocols, smart contracts are subject to unseen vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Regulatory Risk: Blockchain technologies face uncertain regulatory environments globally. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our Services complies with your local laws.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services for any illegal activities, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorism financing, or evading international sanctions. You must not attempt to exploit, hack, or otherwise interfere with the security of the TimaxPay interface or the underlying smart contracts.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimaxPay, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Services.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
